THE VILLA

Made for a crowd, the Villa sleeps up to 12 guests across five bedrooms. With a fully equipped kitchen, generous dining area and relaxed open-plan lounge, it’s a natural base for a wedding party, family reunion or weekend away with friends.

The living area opens directly onto the outdoor porch, with views across the lake and surrounding countryside.

All beds are made with fresh linen, including sheets, pillows, pillowcases and duvets.

Towels are not provided, so please bring your own.

CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT

Check-in is from 4:00pm.

Check-out is by 10:00am.

Self check-in instructions will be sent before arrival.

WHAT TO BRING

Please bring your own towels, food, drinks and personal items.

Bed linen is provided.

As the Villa is in a rural location, we recommend arriving with everything you’ll need for your stay.

LAKE SAFETY

The Villa opens directly onto the lake.

Children must be actively supervised at all times. All guests are responsible for their own safety around the lake and open water.

Lake equipment hire may be available during your stay and should be arranged in advance.

DIRECTIONS

Backpaddock Lakes is located at:

314 Speedy Road

Approximately 10 minutes south of Waipukurau.

From Waipukurau, travel south past the Waipukurau Golf Club and the following passing lane.

Speedy Road will be on your right.

Once on Speedy Road, keep left. Backpaddock Lakes is approximately 3.14 kilometres from the main-road turn-off.

Look for the small Backpaddock Lakes sign on the right-hand side of the road.

Turn into the gravel driveway and continue for approximately 1.5 kilometres until you reach Backpaddock Lakes.

The Villa is the white house located at the end of the driveway.

CHECKOUT INSTRUCTIONS

Before leaving, please complete the following:

USED LINEN

•               Place all used sheets and pillowcases in the hallway.

•               Leave mattress protectors on the beds.

•               Leave pillow protectors on the pillows.

•               Place used towels, tea towels and cleaning cloths in the laundry sink in the hallway.

RUBBISH AND FOOD

•               Take all rubbish and recycling with you.

•               Remove all food and personal items from the fridge.

KITCHEN AND APPLIANCES

•               Check that the oven is switched off at the wall.

•               Turn off the heat pump.

•               Turn off all lights and appliances.

HOUSE

•               Return all furniture to where it was found.

•               Check that no belongings have been left behind.

•               Close and lock all windows. Birds can enter through open windows.

•               Close and lock all doors.

KEYS

•               Lock the Villa.

•               Return the key to the lockbox beside the front door.

•               Make sure the lockbox is securely closed.
